Sports Bar Based in the grounds of Newent Community School, these modern sports facilities were opened in 1999 and have been maintained to a high standard. The sports lounge is home to Newent Hockey Club, Tibberton Football Club and Newent Rugby. Facilities are also used by many other local sports clubs, including skittles teams and friendly five-a-side teams. The bar has a pool table, comfy leather sofas and a large screen showing Sky Sports and is available for private hire with catering on request. Operated on behalf of the school’s Governing Body are the Floodlit Astroturf and Tennis Courts, Football and Rugby Pitches, all-weather Cricket Wicket and nets. Alongside the sports lounge are six multi-use changing rooms. |
